Biog:
My name is Rebecca, but please, call me Bex. I am a 20 year old student youth worker training at St. Johns college for a degree in 'Youth and Community Work with Applied Theology.'
I grew up in a Christian family, and made my own decision to follow God when I did the youth alpha course aged 11.
Throughout senior school I was very involved in my churches various youth groups, whilst at school my main focus was on performing arts. When I had to choose what to do after sixth form, I chose a degree in Drama, and spent a year in Leicester pursuing that. However after that year, I returned to my home church and took a group of young people to soul survivor. It was within this week that I felt God tell me he wanted me to be a youth worker. I started to explore this idea as soon as I got home, and everything fell quickly into place. In the space of ten days I went from being a full time drama student, to a full time youth worker living in Stoke-On-Trent where I have worked for the last year.
I am now moving to Trowell to work with the young people of St Helen's and I honestly cant wait to get started!!
