Trowell Church Hall
The Trowell Church Hall is situated on the A609 Nottingham to Ilkeston Road, near to the fishing tackle shop. It is maintained and run by the Parochial Church Council for the benefit of the residents of the parish. The hall is an asset to the village as it is not as large as the Parish Hall and so can accommodate smaller groups and societies. It is extensively used by church groups and many other groups belonging to the village. There is a fair sized grass area for games. Parking is available in front and rear, though the rear area may be in use for playgroup and so the gated access is usually kept locked during the day. Accessible facilities include level access throughout, and a loop system in the main hall room.
The Church Hall main room has capacity for approximately 100 persons. There is an equipped kitchen, which is available for hot drinks preparation, though users must have current health and hygiene certification for cooking.
The Annex has a capacity of approximately 40 persons. There are kettles and cups available in the entrance lobby.
There are some toilets available to the users of both rooms in the main room rear entrance lobby.
The hiring fees are reasonable but we do not allow late night bookings, alcohol or gambling and we do not have a music licence.
Here is a list of current regular bookings during term time.
